You can change how the gift form looks in Settings → Storefront. Turn on the app embed first. Add the form to your theme
What customers fill in
On your gift card product, customers:
- Choose a value and a card design (Ribbon, Waves or Confetti). The design also appears in the gift email.
- Choose Send as a gift or For myself. For myself sends the card to the email used at checkout.
- For a gift, enter the Recipient name, Recipient email, Your name and an optional message of up to 500 characters.
- Choose Right away or On a date, with a date, time and time zone up to 365 days ahead.
The form explains when the gift will be sent, based on your gift email timing. It also tells customers that gift cards can't be used to pay for a gift card order.
Choose a display
Go to Settings → Storefront and choose a Display:

Full page templates
- Three steps: one column, step by step. Best on phones.
- Letter: customers write their note on a letter.
- Card stage: a big card on your brand color, with values shown as cards.
- Boutique: a dark panel with a large value slider. Best with 3 to 6 values.
Edit and preview
- Select Customize to open the editor.
- Choose a display, a template and your colors. The preview updates as you edit. Switch between Desktop and Mobile to check both.
- Select Save.
- Select View on store to see the real page.
Fonts and the header follow your theme on your store. Changes can take up to a minute to show.
If Giftora shows Saved, but your store isn't updated yet, your store still shows the previous version. Giftora tries again the next time you open the app.
Match your store colors
In Colors, set:
- Accent: by default, the button color from your gift email.
- Page background (Full page only; Attached to product page uses your theme's background)
- Cards and fields
- Text
If a text color is hard to read on your background, Giftora uses black or white text instead and tells you. Select Reset to defaults to go back to the template colors.
Values
The values on the form are the values of your gift card product. To add or change them, go to Products & values. Edit your values
Text and language
The form's labels, buttons and messages are written by Giftora and can't be edited. They show in the language the customer is browsing your store in, when it's one of these: English, Vietnamese, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese and Simplified Chinese. Other languages show in English.
Your product title, description and images come from Shopify. Change them with Edit in Shopify on the Products & values page.
